PETALING JAYA: Sunview Group Bhd ’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd, has entered into a strategic business alliance agreement with the Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA) to encourage its members to construct and implement solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
In a statement, Sunview said the initiative was part of a sustainability initiative, with the group offering all necessary technical expertise to promote the benefits of the solar PV system.
“Additionally, Sunview will conduct due diligence and assessments on the suitability of the project,” it said.
Sunview is a renewable energy firm principally involved in the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning and related activities.
In the statement, Sunview executive director and chief operating officer Charlie Chow said the collaboration with MPMA would provide an opportunity to strengthen its position within the industry, as well as to promote the principles of sustainable living.
“The collaboration aims to enhance the sustainability initiative for the potential companies, aligning them with the global pursuit of achieving net-zero carbon emissions.
“We anticipate that the endeavour to pave the way for a future marked by contributions to the environment and society,” he said.
