PETALING JAYA: SNS Network Technology Bhd saw a strong one-day jump in its share price by 19% and it was also the most active stock on Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
The company, which is listed on the ACE Market, appears to be leveraging the strong interest in companies that are involved in the realm of artificial intelligence (AI).
In its annual report, SNS calls itself an information communication technology solutions provider which is also a retailer for electronic devices and gadgets.
It is also a provider of web and cloud services solutions and a distributor of Nvidia servers.
SNS rose by 7.5 sen to 47 sen at its close yesterday. AI and data centres have seen a strong buying interest of late even as investors look for high-growth names to invest in.
In its technical report yesterday, Rakuten Research said rising momentum in the stock may steer the company higher and test the next level of resistance of 42 sen, followed by 45 sen.
“SNS is primed to capitalise on Malaysia’s AI and data centre opportunities,” it said.
