PETALING JAYA: Sasbadi Holdings Bhd reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of RM35.02mil for the second quarter ended Feb 29, 2024 (2Q24), due to the robust sales of its academic publications for the 2024 academic year.
Going forward, Sasbadi said it intends to maintain its lead in the Malaysian education landscape by building upon its long-established digital capabilities and enhancing its hybrid academic publications, it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
In 2Q24, Sasbadi’s net profit rose to RM7.01mil from RM5.74mil in the previous corresponding period. Basic earnings per share stood at 1.61 sen compared with 1.35 sen a year earlier.
Sasbadi planned to focus on mergers and acquisitions to achieve inorganic growth in its current financial year.
