PETALING JAYA: Renewable energy (RE) firm Samaiden Group Bhd has signed a business collaboration agreement with Gruppe Lighting Solution Sdn Bhd to enhance the deployment of innovative, energy-efficient lighting solutions integrated with RE sources.
“Samaiden and Gruppe will work together to co-develop and implement solar street lighting systems that incorporate solar panels, battery storage and smart grid technologies,” Samaiden said in a statement.
Additionally, it said the collaboration extends to smart city projects that integrate solar street lights with Internet of Things capabilities, which would significantly improve energy management and enhance urban services.
“The initiative includes hybrid systems which ensure continuous lighting even during periods of low sunlight by integrating solar energy with other renewable sources.”
