Nestcon gets RM3.6mil solar contract

PETALING JAYA: Nestcon Bhd has secured a RM3.6mil contract to develop and install a solar photovoltaic (PV) system in Subang Jaya, Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Nestcon said Nestcon Solar Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nestcon Sustainable Solutions Sdn Bhd (which is a 51%-owned subsidiary of Nestcon), had entered into an agreement with Subang Safety Glass Sdn Bhd (SSG) to develop, design, instal, construct and commission the PV system at the rooftop of SSG’s premises.

“The agreement is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Nestcon Group upon the successful implementation and execution of the PV system.

“The agreement is not expected to have any and/or will not have any material effect on the gearing of Nestcon Group,” it said.
