KUALA LUMPUR: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd ‘s wholly-owned subsidiary Jati Tinggi Holding Sdn Bhd and its joint venture partner, Worktime Engineering Sdn Bhd, has won a tender for works on a proposed 132KV bulk supply to a semiconductor production factory in Kuala Lumpur.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the contract from Tenaga Nasional Bhd is valued at RM25.55mil.
It entails laying 132kV underground cable double circuit for the said factory.
Jati Tinggi is entitled to 30% of the contract under the terms of the joint venture, with the remaining 70% held by Worktime Engineering.
The contract is effective from May 31, 2024, and shall be completed within 365 days.
“The letter of award is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share of the company over the duration of the contract,” said Jati Tinggi.
