KUALA LUMPUR: Master TEC Group Bhd has received an unusual market activity (UMA) query from Bursa Malaysia following the sharp rise in its share price.
Master Tec rose 20 sen, or 21.51% to RM1.13 with 21.88 million shares traded. The counter has appreciated over 213% so far this year.
“Investors are advised to take note of the company’s reply to the UMA query which will be posted at Bursa Malaysia’s website under the company announcement when making their investment decision,” the stock market operator said.
Master Tec has been asked to disclose any corporate development relating to its business and affairs that has not been previously announced that may account for the trading activity, including those in the stage of negotiations or discussions.
