KUALA LUMPUR: Swimmer Bryan Leong showed he has what it takes to fight for a SEA Games breakthrough next year after smashing the men’s 100m butterfly national record at the World Championships in Doha, Qatar.
The 21-year-old, swimming in a strong heat 7, touched the wall in 52.76s at Hamad Aquatic Centre yesterday.
