PETALING JAYA: Awanbiru Technology Bhd (Awantec) will be focusing on strengthening its synergistic offerings to drive its future growth.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the technology and talent digitalisation enabler said its software and services segment has established a strong presence and position in Malaysia under the government’s Cloud Framework Agreement to bolster the government’s digital transformation plan.
For its third quarter ended March 31, 2024, Awantec reported a net profit of RM2.14mil, from a net loss of RM1.99mil a year earlier, boosted by higher software and services revenue.
Revenue in the third quarter surged to RM55.77mil from RM8.51mil in the previous corresponding period. The company reported basic earnings per share stood at 0.27 sen, compared with a loss per share of 0.25 sen a year earlier.
For the nine-months period ended March 31, 2024, Awantec reported a net profit of RM3.3mil compared with a net loss of RM6.30mil previously, while revenue grew to RM84.39mil from RM34.60ml previously.
