KUALA LUMPUR: All FTSE indices and FBM KLCI index value feed on Bursa Malaysia have resumed since 3.21 pm, according to the local exchange operator.
Earlier on, Bursa Malaysia Bhd said that the FBM KLCI index value feed was experiencing service disruption after the lunch break, and that it was investigating the matter.

At 3.30 pm, the benchmark index FBM KLCI climbed 3.44 points to 1,637.25 from Thursday’s close of 1,633.81.
In a separate statement, Bursa Malaysia said it was informed by a spokesperson from FTSE Russell that there was a service interruption to all its indices globally earlier today at 05.18 GMT (1.18 pm Malaysian time) due to a third-party technical issue.

“The interruption was resolved at 07.21 GMT (3.21 pm local time). FTSE Russell believes this was related to current issues being reported by several other organisations globally,” it said.
Trading on Bursa Malaysia was not affected despite the service disruption, it added. – Bernama
